Q: Can you tell me more about the "DELUXE SVEN?"
A: This Sven puppet is designed for a single, experienced and fit performer, with a height range of 5’7” to 6’3”. This is a heavier puppet, and we recommend use by performers with a strong fitness and strength level.
This puppet is complex, and requires assembly upon first use. Please allow for at least two other supervisors to assist the performer in assembling, and setting the correct adjustments for the puppet, as befits their height and body type. Detailed instructions are provided.
If you are using this puppet during the warmer months of the year, ensure adequate air conditioning on stage, or consider the use of other techniques for keeping the performer cool, depending on how rigorous your staging might be.
The provided fur pants are designed to fit almost any performer height. Just use the elasticated waistline to adjust the height of the pants, so the pant legs end at the performer’s ankles. We recommend the purchase of clip-on, adjustable suspenders to help ensure that the pants cannot slip down during performance.
The foam hooves can be attached to most standard footwear, between a small to large size, though a medium size range is recommended. These attach over the top of the performer’s shoes. We suggest black shoes are worn for performances, so as to match the hoof color.
Q: Can you tell me more about the "STANDARD SVEN?"
A: Two people wear the Sven puppet. The performer height range suitable for this puppet is
between 5’0” to 6’0”.
The taller performer should usually take the back legs position, this helps Sven look balanced and natural when in profile. A large height discrepancy between performers can make the puppet look uneven. Putting the taller person in the back smooths out the puppet’s profile.
Shoulder pads are provided to help bulk up the appearance of the puppet’s thighs, for a more accurate musculature.

Q: Can you tell me more about the "DELUXE OLAF?"
A: Olaf is intended to be operated by a single performer, with a height range of 5’7” to 6’1”.
Performers on an extreme end of this range, or exceeding it, may experience issues with comfort, and positioning of the puppet, as may performers with extreme body types.
Olaf requires some assembly upon arrival, and has multiple points of adjustment to accommodate a range of performers. The puppet is attached to the performer’s body via the body and feet, allowing for a full range of expressive, synced motion.
The shoe covers for Olaf’s feet can be attached to most standard footwear, between a small to large size, though medium size range is recommended. These attach over the top of the performer’s shoes. We suggest black shoes are worn for performances, so as to match the shoe cover color.
Q: Can you tell me more about the "STANDARD OLAF?"
A: Olaf is intended to be operated by a single performer, with a suitable height range of 4’6” to 6’2”. Note that performers in the upper height range may experience more discomfort, as they may need to kneel, hunch, or crouch more often in the course of the performance.
Olaf can be used by the performer whilst standing, kneeling, or crouched, depending on your staging, and the height of your performer. Olaf may be held so that his feet touch the ground, or he may be held so that he “floats” a little off the ground; this is at the discretion of each individual production.
This Olaf puppet is entirely hand-operated, with manual manipulation of the arms and mouth.
Q: Can you tell me more about the "OLAF 'BODY PARTS' KIT?"
A: The Olaf “Body Parts” Kit is a supplemental puppet rental, providing the pieces of an Olaf
puppet for use in the specific sequence described in Act 2, Scene 8.
This puppet comes with lightweight body ball pieces, a separated nose carrot, and a separated head, which can be operated in the same way as the Standard Olaf head, with a hand-operated mouth, but no blinking eye mechanism.
Q: What does "BLEMISHES" mean?
A: Our puppets are routinely refreshed between rentals, to the highest possible standards, but
some minor blemishes may not be able to be fully removed without the puppet undergoing a more substantial repair or rebuild process. To reduce the costs to our clients and uphold our rental rotation schedule in a timely manner, small blemishes that are invisible to audiences may
be present on your puppet upon arrival. Rest assured, these will not impact the functionality or performance of the puppet, and will not be held against your deposit. Please document and photograph any issues you may discover upon unboxing and assembling your puppet, to ensure
you have a record of its condition upon arrival, and don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
Q: What does "PARTIALLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT" mean?
A: By “partially refundable,” we mean that the deposit is returned minus any applicable costs, such as outbound shipping and any extensive repairs required after the rental period. Routine wear and minor fixes are already covered in our rental fee, so you won't be charged for those. Any remaining balance is refunded once the puppet is inspected upon return.
Q: I work for a school, use a school email and I am not receiving emails regarding my rental?
A: If you are using a school-issued email address, please be aware that we have experienced
frequent issues with school security servers blocking our replies. To ensure you receive our communications, kindly mark our email address as “not spam” and check your spam/junk folder regularly. Or please provide a non-school email.
